Fabulous Fall Flower Arrangements

Posted by

Fall flowers are so pretty, rich hues, inviting textures and visions of crisp leaves and fresh autumn air. Weekends filled with apples, pumpkins, hay bales and fireside s’mores are made perfect by having a beautiful flower arrangement waiting for you when you get home. Here are five fall flower arrangements you are going to love.

Pumpkins and flowers are a match made in heaven for fall home décor. Flowers in yellow, orange and red accented with foliage, cones, branches and berries atop a cheese curcubit (another name for pumpkin) fill the need to bring the feel of the season indoors.

This sleek and sophisticated design is for the person craving the colors of fall but not embracing the hayrides and haunted happenings. Orange mokara orchids, fuchsia wax flower, “Free Spirit” roses and a trailing jasmine vine. The curvy glass vase evokes the voluptuous bounty of the harvest.

Not every fall arrangement has to be orange. This collection is reminiscent of a walk through the pasture and along the hedgerow. Flat fern, hydrangea, astilbe, veronica and Dianthus are nestled in a bed of greens such as eucalyptus, bupleurum and salal.

Wispy and natural wreath of foraged material is a beautiful accent for the front door. It is a fun exercise to gather materials on an autumn walk bring them home and make something like this. If that’s not your thing have your local florist do it for you. Grape vine, eucalyptus, Sweet Annie artemisia, hydrangea and hypericum.
